At Host A Journal Pvt Ltd, we strive to deliver exceptional technical infrastructure, OJS hosting, ISSN registration, and indexing support to our academic clients worldwide. We value transparency and want our customers to understand our policies regarding service fees and refunds.
Annual OJS hosting plans (such as Startup and Professional tiers) are eligible for a refund request within 7 days of the initial purchase date if the service has not been fully provisioned or configured. Once custom domain setups, server migrations, or database installations have been successfully completed, hosting fees become non-refundable due to the dedicated resource allocation.
Fees associated with ISSN registration services and third-party metadata assignments (such as Crossref DOIs) cover administrative processing, documentation preparation, and official network submissions. Because these involve external registration agencies and state/international registries, these service fees are non-refundable once the application or deposit has been submitted to the respective authority.
Host A Journal provides expert technical preparation, metadata compliance, and advisory support. We do not guarantee third-party approvals (such as ultimate database indexing decisions by external bodies like Scopus or DOAJ), and service fees cannot be refunded based on third-party editorial outcomes.
Clients may cancel their hosting or maintenance renewals at any time prior to the billing renewal date. Cancellations requested after a renewal charge has been processed will not qualify for a refund for the current billing cycle, but future automated renewals will be disabled.
If you believe you have experienced an exceptional billing circumstance or service failure, please contact our administrative team within 7 days of the transaction:
